This session will guide attendees through the process of planning, promoting, and executing a successful job fair at their library. Drawing on real-world experience, the presenter will share practical strategies for engaging community partners, attracting employers, and creating a welcoming, inclusive environment for job seekers of all backgrounds. As the Career Librarian at Champaign Public Library, Cat Purcell specializes in assisting people perfect their resumes and cover letters. She provides career advice as well as hosts monthly Career Lunch + Learn sessions, two community job fairs and loves to make connections between quality job seekers and community organizations!
