Public Library Per Capita

Improving and Increasing Library Services

Equalization Grants have been established to help public libraries which have a low library tax base. In providing up to $4.25 per person served, these grants help ensure a minimum level of funding for library services.

Public Library Per Capita Grants help public libraries improve and increase library services to their service areas. A grant amount of up to $1.25 per person served is made available to public libraries.
