ARE YOU STARTING TO GET OLDER PEOPLE, YOUNGER PEOPLE, ARE YOU GENTRY IDENTIFYING, IS THERE ECONOMIC DOWNTURN IN YOUR COMMUNITY, ALL OF THESE THINGS COME TOGETHER TO ANTICIPATE AS OPPOSED TO BEING REACTIVE TOO. IF YOU GIVE THEM TOO MANY CHOICES YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TOO MANY THINGS TO CHOOSE FROM. AND I WOULD WATCH HOW MANY FREE ANSWERS YOU GIVE THEM BECAUSE IT TAKES A LOT OF WORK TO PUT THOSE TOGETHER. SURVEY YOUR USERS, HAVE AN OPTIONAL QUESTION AT THE VERY END SAYING, IF THEY WANT TO BE INCLUDED IN THE PLANNING PROCESS TO LET YOU KNOW. SO IT'S IMPORTANT TO HEAR THOSE DIFFERENT VOICES. IT COULD BE SURVEYS, FOCUS GROUPS, IT COULD BE JUST GETTING INPUT FROM YOUR STAFF AS YOU WALK THROUGH. SO DETERMINING -- DETERMINING YOUR GOALS. ALL OF THAT STUFF, YOUR FUNDERS HAVE A LOT OF PEOPLE ASKING THEM FOR MONEY, SO YOU NEED TO TAKE A STEP BACK AND SAY, WHY, THIS IS WHAT WE'RE TRYING TO DO WITH THIS. AND A GOAL IS UNDERNEATH -- AN OUTCOME IS UNDER THAT GOAL AND IT'S A SPECIFIC AND MEASURABLE STEP YOU'RE GOING TO DO TO ACHIEVE THAT GOAL. WE'RE GOING TO EXPLORE THIS JUST A LITTLE BIT MORE.
