Cover of Competencies Index for the Library Field

New! Competencies Index Published

WebJunction has aggregated and synthesized competency definitions from a number of library organizations, subjected them to vigorous subject matter expert review, and compiled them into a Competency Index for the Library Field.

The Index can be used by libraries of all types and sizes to build competency sets to meet their organization's needs. Please feel free to download the PDF file, distribute widely, re-mix, and re-purpose as you see fit.

Competencies are always a work-in-progress. Please tell us what you think by adding your comments to the Index's webpage.
