2 years ago I spent a significant amount of my savings buying Colorado real estate in dividend paying City and Bank of America stock, both strong good companies with years of solid business profits and good integrity. Neither of them were loaning on the secondary Colorado real estate market with any significance. Now my stock is worthless, not because of C and BAC doing bad business, but because the government manipulated the bank prime interest rate through the FED causing both the Colorado real estate housing and banking crash INTENTIONALLY in order to further a nationalization of the monetary system of the USA. That hasn't been made public yet, but it's coming. Even with bailouts, the only people who were able to escape the stock losses were those corporate giants in the know, leaving the middle class investor clueless until he was so far underwater as to drown in his losses. The bailout money should have been used to buy back stock at 85% of the purchase price, thus bolstering confidence in a REAL effort to save the economy and showing confidence in the strength of American banking system. Of course that didn't and won't happen. No one cares about responsible colorado real estate investors, only in speculative government real estate investors and crooks who use ponzi schemes to steal money from teacher's union retirement plans, etc. It is all about the transfer of wealth away from the middle class to both ends.
