Librarian and genealogist by day....still the same by night.
I've always wanted to be a teacher and being a librarian has been the best fit for me to accomplish this. It all started many moons ago when I worked in my college library and so far I think this career will stick. I've been with the Columbus Metropolitan Library (CML) for a long time now and been fortunate enough to work the whole time at the Main Library. I've worked circulation, ILL, general reference, popular library, magazines/newspapers, and genealogy history & travel.
I'm the systems Genealogy Subject Specialist and have spent a great deal of my time working on the addition of the State Library of Ohio's genealogy to ours and now we've been given the Palatines to America Society (German) Library's genealogy collection as well. You'll find me in the stacks getting acquainted with some of our collection and on the road giving presentations about genealogy or our collection. Affiliations:
