Gadgets For Your Library

Kindle, GPS, flip, iPod, canon camera, and moreLibrary staff are discussing the use and support of gadgets such as ebook readers, mp3 players, video and digital cameras, and ever-evolving handheld computers and smartphones. As a follow-on to Jason Griffey's presentation earlier this year, this month we'll be considering some of the more basic questions around how to compare gadgets and decide which you should purchase or allow use of in the library.

We started with two webinars: one that takes you through a basic gadget orientation; and another on the wireless connection that can be key to supporting gadgets such as iPads and laptops. View the presentations and then post your questions (or answers!)  to the discussion forum set up for this topic.
