Deafness and the user experience
5:42 PM EDT 8/19/08
I recently came across this article on A List Apart, a blog which publishes thoughtful and insightful pieces useful for anyone who delivers online content. The article Deafness and the User Experience explores Deaf culture, deafness, and how web developers and content creators can create more accessible experiences.

One thing that was illuminated for me is that someone who is part of Deaf culture might not use English (or whatever dominant language) as their first language. Also, that good Writing for the Web tips also create more accessible content.

I'd love to hear what others think about this article. Any thoughts?
