What to develop?
2:25 AM EST 2/23/06
I've been developing web based library and information management systems for 15 years now. I've been thinking over the past couple of months about writing a new ILS. Then I get to thinking that maybe I should write something different, say: serials management, staff scheduling, room bookings, ... I could write these things but I'd prefer to be working on an active task that somebody needs!
Does anyone have any web based application that they need written and are prepared to pay some money toward?
I work using an 'evolutionary' methodology, delivering an initial prototype and then refining it for the customer as necessary. I would also be developing the application to be generic so that it could be used by other libraries. IP would remain with me - depending on how much money you pay. Joint ownership can be discussed.
Please write to developer@focus-computing.com.au
TIA for your replies - I'll keep this topic posted of any offline progress Murray Brisbane, Australia
