Hello everyone!

I've been trying to gather materials together for presentations in a number of different fields and hobbies. This has necessitated the creation of a number of different blogs, wikis, photo storage options, calendars, file storage options, and a handful of separate pages used to tie it all together.

This got me thinking--why can't I have one page I can use to access all of these functions, while creating different pages for my adoring public to look at for each topic? It occurred to me that this is my "Holy Grail" at this moment.

Now, some of you may be reading this and thinking, "You idiot! You're describing ****, which can do everything you want in a web application--and your laundry, to boot." If that's the case, please don't hesitate to call me on it.

I thought it would be interesting, however, to find out what your "Holy Grail" might be. You never know, maybe the tech geniuses at Google or some garage start-up are reading this board to find out what we, the information gurus of the world, need in order to connect the masses to the information landscape at their fingertips.

Just wanting to note the upcoming battle between Microsoft and Google (with a few other players thrown in): Microsoft, supposedly, has acknowledged that Vista may be its last operating system since so much can be done via web apps.

I suppose the question, ultimately, comes up to security ... how many people *want* their documents on someone else's remote server?

(Makes me want to install Ubuntu right now.)
