Hi, my name is Chrystie and my favorite web tool is twitter because it keeps me connected to colleagues and friends, and it has a mobile feature that lets me carry it around with me in my purse (that is, on my cellphone).

Hello, my name is Jennifer and 2 of my favorite Web tools (today, anyway!) are facebook and IM (instant messaging) because
-facebook helped me connect with all the other people who loved a dear friend who passed away last year (I created a friends of Morgan Cowles group...actually the reason I joined fb)
-and IM helps create efficient communication with colleagues I work closely with...quick questions, quick responses, to get work done right as I'm in the middle of tasks.
-AND I visit my Updates on "My WebJunction" many times a day, to see what my friends are contributing, saying, and learning on WebJunction.

Hi my name is Kathryn and my favorite web tool is flickr because I can organize and share photos as well as join other Seattle flickr fans for in-person photo strolls, workshops and photo competitions.

Hi, my name is Tom and my favorite web tool is Google Mail, Calendar, Docs, Notes, and Delicious(not-Google) because they totally free me from configuring any computer with the tools that make me effective. And... I don't have to be concerned with backing up any of my documents. Sorry, just one is not enough

Hello, my name is Kathleen and my favorite Web tool is facebook because I can stay in touch with my friends and family who are scattered all over the country, connect with current and former colleagues to share in all of our busy lives and find out that my 5 year old niece is now in love with all-things-unicorn, all while I drink my morning coffee.

Hello, my name is Michael Porter and my favorite Web tool is flickr because I can both share and organize pictures, then engage with the larger web community around our images and interests. Plus there are a TON of librarians and libraries using flickr!

Hello, my name is Chris and my favorite Web tool is Facebook. It allows me to stay in touch with family and friends (both near and far.) It has also given me a chance to connect "across time" with old friends from high school as we prepare for our 20th Class Reunion. There are some great appilcations on FaceBook as well.

Hello, my name is Laura and my favorite Web tool is Facebook because it expands my social life and I can learn about new and interesting books/films/music/events/news. And now I don't forget my friends' birthdays--Facebook keeps track of that for me!

Hello, my name is Betha and my OTHER favorite web tool is Pageflakes (or you can use Netvibes or iGoogle) because it allows me to set up a PLE, a personal learning environment where I can pull in feeds on specific topics, from blogs or general news sites or Delicious tags, videos, podcasts, images, ...all of which makes it a much richer learning tool than a regular feedreader.

Hello, my name is Tim and my favorite web tool is the whole web. Can I say that? I like it all. If I had to choose just one, I'd go with WordPress.com or Twitter, but why choose one when you have the power of your favorite (another tool: Firefox!) in your hands?

Hello! My name is Cindi Hickey and my favorite Web 2.0 tool is iGoogle because with that I can use all my other favorite Web 2.0 tools - Twitter, Flickr, Facebook and follow my favorite feeds and my Google documents and ... well you get the idea. It is my Web 2.0 suitcase. P.S. Check out the State Library of Kansas iGoogle gadget.

Hello, my name is Mindy Kittay and my favorite Web tool right now is Facebook because it is so fast and easy to post to. I love uploading photos from my Blackberry right after I take them (Leonard Cohen concert last night-awesome!), sending updates from my computer or Blackberry as I think of them. I can link interesting articles and videos that I find on the web with the click of a key. It also gives me a fast and easy way to keep up with my friends from all over the world.
