Flash Based Web Presentations by Spresent

I mentioned yesterday that Google would be providing a web based presentation application, but I didn't get into any of the details. That's because,at this point, there are none. However, I did come across another web presentation application yesterday, while I was reading The Librarian in Black--Sarah Houghton-Jan's blog.

Spresent (http://Spresent.com) is a flash based web presentation application that is powerful and easy to use. It has drag and drop functionality, a nice collection of graphics and images, chart and table capability, and it functions well with Flickr and YouTube. Not only can you embed photos and videos within presentations, you can also embed or email the presentations themselves.

I have just begin working with it, but it seems to be a really useful application. The only drawback to it at this time is that you must be on the web to access the presentations. The company is working on the ability to save presentations as a flash file, though.
