Foreign Language IMs

Anybody know of a service that allows folks to communicate via IM and using a foreign language? We have recently had some Arabic speakers in to use IM, and we've had trouble finding a service for them. Google Talk has been suggested to me, but since I don't read Arabic myself, I can't tell if the word actually SAYS Arabic. Has anybody had any experience with this? Anybody know Just the Thing? Thanks!

meebo is a web messenger that offers multi-lingual access to a variety of IM clients. I've only used English, but it works great!

Apparently, Meebo does indeed support Arabic:

Here's a blog post on the release of Arabic Meebo. And the meebo wiki lists translation strings they've used.

I suppose a whole other issue is whether Arabic language support is installed. If it is installed, I would think even the default Windows messenger would work. However without Arabic language I wonder if _any_ of the IM clients will work.

Anyone know for sure?

I know that ICQ supports about 30 languages. You can see a list here:

Here is a direct link to (an older version of) ICQLite Arabic
