StoryTubes - the 2-minute or shorter "my favorite book" video project sponsored by public libraries has accepted videos from across the United States and Canada in 2009. The number of contest participants tripled from last year (over 400) and are the most creative yet! Now it’s time for voters to view and choose their favorites. However, we already know that there are many winners because kids of all ages are sharing their passion and excitement about books with other kids online. As these videos are watched, the excitement for a particular author and/or story is conveyed to viewers throughout the world.

Here’s a sample of the imaginative video book reviews submitted to StoryTubes.
