El Día de los Niños/El Día de los Libros

Originally presented January, 2007, by Ruth Rose Hennessey of Corvallis-Benton County Public Library, OR and Melanie Tucker Hunter Library, West Valley City, UT.

Both Utah and Oregon have won awards for their very successful programs celebrating this day, a celebration of children, families, and reading held annually on April 30.
