Essential Guide to Spanish Reading: Libarians' Selection
The America Reads Spanish Project developed this guide to essential books in Spanish (http://webjunction.org/do/DisplayContent?id=18005). Annotations are in English. Contributors include members of REFORMA (http://www.reforma.org/), SALALM (http://www.library.cornell.edu/colldev/salalmhome.html), and WESS (http://wess.lib.byu.edu/index.php/Iberian_Studies_Web). Covering multiple genres, including fiction and reference works, this is an invaluable tool for librarians building collections in Spanish.

Courses for Multicultural Library Service
There are many opportunities to continue learning about multicultural services at WebJunction. Check out the courses (http://webjunction.org/do/DisplayContent?id=17900) offered at WebJunction to support and improve your library's services to Spanish speakers and multicultural communities.

October Webinar: Diversity Cookbook, A Database for Diversity Programs
The Diversity Cookbook (http://webjunction.org/do/DisplayContent?id=17879) is an online database developed by a team of librarians at the Ocean County Library (OCL). It was developed to assist in planning diversity programs, and to share the information with others. First started as an internal tool, they realized that the more input they got from libraries throughout the state and even the country, the more useful it would be as a tool for developing diversity programs. You too can contribute to this growing knowledge base of diversity programming.  Learn more about the Diversity Cookbook at the next In Depth Webinar (http://webjunction.org/do/Navigation?category=15431).

The Ocean County Library Diversity grant is supported by the New Jersey State Library and is funded by the Institute of Museum and Library Services, an independent federal agency whose mission is to create strong libraries and museums that connect people to information and ideas.
