I am finally able to get some posters and bookmarks in Spanish off to our state printing office-now I have to pray that they will get back to me in time for my first workshop on November 7. I borrowed this design from the PLUS website, which is the "sister" website to SOL-Spanish In Our Libraries. I just found them by searching the internet for bookmarks in Spanish. We did have to recreate them here because it wasn't feasible to use the bookmark as a poster and the resolution on the bookmark wasn't as good as we wanted it to be. The secretary of state also added some more language to the items, but I checked to make sure that it was okay with the PLUS people. The person I communicated with at PLUS, Bruce Jensen, seemed pleased that we were using their design for Library Outreach to Spanish Speakers here in Missouri. I'm sure he would be equally pleased if any other states wanted to use their bookmarks or bookmark designs. I'll attach our files here and here is the web address for the bookmarks on the SOL/PLUS website:

I hope these attachments work!

In Central Oregon, we just had the Central Oregon Regional Conference. Ann Schauber from Oregon State University was a presenter at one of the workshop-her presentation was about diversity. As part of the giveaways for Team Oregon's upcoming workshops, I purchased several copies of her book "Working with Diffences in Communities." They cost $15 each. Ann's site is http://www.caracolores.com/ Her presentation was great! If you need more info, on this let me know.
