Check In @ your library

Teen Tech Week is a national initiative aimed at teens and at librarians, educators, parents, and other concerned adults, to encourage teens to take advantage of libraries' nonprint resources. The 2013 theme — Check In @ your library — encourages libraries to throw open their physical and virtual doors to teens and showcase the outstanding technology they offer, from services such as online homework help and digital literacy-focused programs to resources like e-books, movies, music, audiobooks, databases and more.

• Ohio librarian Robyn Vittek covered Teen Tech Week for In the Library with the Lead Pipe.  Her article, Teen Tech Week: Create, Share, Learn @ Your Library, offers practical, on-the-ground ideas for programs, activities, displays, & collaborations, and reminds us that TTW is too flexible to get stressed out over.
