Missouri Library Management
Library management is complex and ever challenging. This section will contain helpful tips and documents, and we hope you will contribute your expertise to the discussion. We receive questions every week from library directors and trustees and, when appropriate, will post the responses to the discussion area.
When you have questions relating to your library’s services and management, remember that there are many helpful resources available through the State Library. Each year, the State Library purchases a wide variety of materials, on planning, budgeting, personnel management, technology issues, youth services, services for persons with disabilities and many other topics.
You can search the catalog through this link, http://arthur.missouri.edu/search~S6. Once you have located titles of interest, you may request them through your library’s interlibrary loan service.
Have a question about Missouri library management? Contact Brenda Allee-Bates or Barbara Reading at the Missouri State Library or post to the discussion.
