As a new library director I found myself always looking for examples of public library policies that were already in existence.  With the help of many Georgia Public Library directors I have compiled hundreds of public library policies and arranged them by subject category.

I also thought it might be helpful to look at policies of libraries that are the same size.  Therefore, each subject category will also have a designation for SMALL (population served is 49,999 or less), MEDIUM (population served is 50,000-99,999), and LARGE (population served is over 100,000) library systems.

Each policy will have in its name the year the policy was last updated and the library system name.
