People With Disabilities
People with visual, hearing, and mobility disabilities face special challenges when trying to access library collections, services, and programs, and it’s on us to acquire assistive technology products and software, promote them, and collaborate with community agencies. Libraries especially need to expand staff awareness and sensitivity to a more diverse group of library users through training.
