Connecticard Begins 39th Year Averaging Over 4.9 Million Loans/Year

Connecticard loans topped 4.9 million loans for the third straight year this Ccard year (ending February 2012).  Connecticut is the only state that has a reciprocal borrowing program with reimbursement from the state, delivery by Connecticar, and a statewide borrowers card.  This combination provides more efficiency and equity in library services to Connecticut residents.  Libraries should all have received their reimbursement payments for 2012, and should be filing their expenditure reports for last year's payments.  Find out more about this program which began in 1974 with just 400,000 loans.
