sending e-mail

We are unable to send e-mail using yahoo. Our tech guy said yahoo had made some upgrades and with the safety features built into the computer we could no longer use yahoo to send e-mails. Has anyone else had this problem, and if so what did you do?

So, I believe that the newer Yahoo Mail is Flash based, and it is likely that is where the problem is coming from. But that certainly doesn't mean it won't work.
The first thing to try is updating Flash. I don't know how it is with the current version, but with past versions it was sometimes necessary to remove the profile restrictions, and go in and update Flash from the all account, not just from exec. If you do this, remember to test it once you update, then log out and right back in and test again, and finally replace the profile restrictions and then test once more.
Also, just as a stopgap - when a patron logs in to Yahoo Mail, have them look for a link to "Classic Mail" - this should take them to the older version which should still work.
