What to do if the Computer Freezes Note: If any of the Magic School Bus programs freeze, you should restart the computer.
1 Press Alt + F4 When a software program stops working or freezes, try pressing the Alt + F4 keys to close the program.
2 If Alt + F4 doesn't work, try Ctrl + Alt + Delete There are a few options after you press the Ctrl + Alt + Delete keys. If the first doesn't work, try the next, and so on. Cancel: Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Click the Cancel button on the Windows 2000 Security dialog box. If that works, the program will close but the profile is still open.
Logoff Windows: Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Click the Logoff Windows button on the Windows 2000 Security dialog box. Click OK to Logoff Windows 2000. The program and
profile will close. Log back on again to see if the computer is back to normal.
Restart Windows: Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Click the Shut Down button on the Windows 2000 Security dialog box. Click Shutdown and Restart, and then click OK. After the computer reboots, log back on again to see if everything is back to normal.
Shutdown the Computer: Press Ctrl + Alt + Delete. Click the Shut Down button on the Windows 2000 Security dialog box. Click Shutdown and Restart, and then click OK. Wait 30 seconds and then press the power button to turn the computer on again.
3 If Ctrl + Alt + Delete doesn't work, try the Power button You will probably need to press and hold the power button on the front of the computer for a few seconds to get the computer
to turn off. Wait 30 seconds before turning the computer back on again.
