Library Email Lists
Email discussion lists (popularly known as "Listservs," which is a trademarked name) have been a great way for library staff around the country and even the world to share their best practices for years. Some of the most popular library email lists are available here on WebJunction.org. One of the benefits of email lists is that you can choose to get the messages delivered to your email in-box as soon as they come in, or wait and get them in a condensed daily "digest" format. You can also post questions to these listservs to get feedback and answers from your colleagues. Remember that in addition to offering access to these email lists, you can also browse the Discussion boards that are part of many of the WebJunction resources. |
