WebJunction webinars are free opportunities for you to learn from library leaders and fellow library practitioners. Every month we offer a variety of webinars on topics that support our vision of relevant, vibrant, and sustainable libraries in every community. You can attend a webinar to enhance your skills, connect with other library staff, and contribute your own ideas on a particular topic.
WALT, the Washington Library Trainers organization, found a creative way to incorporate one our webinars into their group's staff development. They required members of the group to view the webinar Cultivating a Culture of Learning presented by Lori Reed before their group’s online meeting (which they use Wimba Classroom to host). They then held a discussion about what they learned from the webinar, and how they might incorporate the ideas it generated into their own work. You can view their discussion below.
