Just got word of this Washington conference and wanted to share here. Hopefully there will be some resources shared so that those not local can benefit too!

Join us for the 2009 Washington State Immigrant and Refugee Conference!
March 13-14

The Washington Refugee and Immigrant Conference is a community-organized gathering of refugees and immigrants, service providers, policy makers, advocates, academics, and interested community members. Promote your services or projects

If you have information to share about a service, program, research project, or business, consider taking part in the conference "poster sessions," on Friday from 3:30-5pm. During that time you will set up a table or poster using display materials such as pictures, graphs, and narrative text on tables and/or poster boards. Participants will stand with their displays to answer questions and informally “present” their project on a one-to-one basis. This is an excellent marketing, information sharing, and networking opportunity. Free with registration. Email candersonahrens@gmail.com to learn about poster sessions.
