Description:

Think of the library's budget as a road map for navigating the library's and institution's financial environment. Along with the library mission statement, the budget is one of the library's most important planning tools because it enables the library administration and the governing bodies to keep track of financial resources, forecast the financial future, and guide the service direction of the library. This course will help you to better understand the budget process and the components that make up a library's budget.

This course will take the mystique out of budgeting and put you in control of the budget.
