USA.gov - The U.S. Government's Official Web Portal

http://www.usa.gov

USA.gov contains comprehensive information on government resources, services and forms for citizens, businesses, government employees, and U.S. Visitors. Some activites that can be done here include contacting elected officials, replacing vital records, finding federal forms for taxes, social security, veterans' benefits, and more.

The site features over 100 services that can be conducted or learned about online. It also operates as a directory with links to government information arranged by topic. As a portal, this site leads to many other government sites, helping direct people to the place where they can best meet their needs.

There is also a page that lists all the blogs from the U.S. government: http://www.usa.gov/Topics/Reference_Shelf/News/blog.shtml
