Demographics
Demographic information describes social and economic characteristics of a defined population. This module focuses on populations within the United States. For those users coming to the site on their own (not part of a training session), check out the Step-by-Step through the Demographics Module page. The United States Census Bureau produces the largest amount of demographic data about American populations. Because of this the Census site can be seen as a complicated path through various databases and publications. The guides below provide overviews of the Census Bureau and its main resources.
