Dates listed are deadlines, or final dates for action, unless otherwise indicated. Many require preliminary steps, which if one waits until the deadline to comply with, are impossible to meet. Accordingly, it is wise to mark your calendar well in advance of the final dates for action. Also, should the law require publication, your calendar should be marked with printer's deadlines in mind. Many of these deadline dates are Saturday or Sunday and the last practical date is the Friday preceding such dates (as the last day offices are open).
