This course reviews how to use TechAtlas, a suite of online technology planning tools as part of the Opportunity Online hardware grant program. The course is designed to review the specific TechAtlas grant-required tasks displayed on the Guide Start Dashboard for eligible library accounts.

Opportunity Online grant-eligible library staff assigned to complete the TechAtlas grant tasks. Anyone interested in an overview of the TechAtlas inventory tools.

Learning Goals:


By the end learners should be able to:

  • Log into their TechAtlas account
  • Update the account Profile
  • Capture an inventory of public access computers using any of the three inventory tools: Network, Local and Manual Tools.

TechAtlas strives to improve the design and functionality of this technology planning tool for the library community. New version releases of the software may result in a slight difference in screen appearance than what is captured in this course.
