    <summary type="html">One of the most flexible is PhpList &amp;#045; http://www.tincan.co.uk/phplist  &amp;#040;you can run multiple lists, email to many lists at once etc.&amp;#041;  However, keep in mind that whatever server you&amp;#039;re on will have email sending restrictions &amp;#040;typically around 200 per hour&amp;#041;.  The software allows you to batch large numbers on a schedule, but still... you run the risk of being labelled a spammer etc.  To me, the $20 a month for a hosted service saves a lot of technical management headaches. For those kind of services, I recommend Aweber &amp;#045; it&amp;#039;s much more powerful than Constant Contact &amp;#040;you can code where people came from, have separate signup systems for different groups, and much more&amp;#041;.</summary>
