Hello Everyone who attended yesterday's (3/24/08)Town Officers Education Conference,

I (Rob Geiszler) would like to thank everyone who came. We had some excellent discussion.

I've attached the two documents that I handed out, which include the links to the Secretary of State's website, on which you'll find the Law of Public Libraries; A Matter of Public Record: A Guide to Vermont’s Public Records Law; and A Pocket Guide to the Open Meeting Law .

David Brown wanted to share the following information about his talk:
"I got a list of ways to improve board meetings from www.compasspoint.org/boardcafe/details.php?id=16 I think all library trustees might as well sign up for one or more of the (free) sites for board members. www.compasspoint.org/boardcafe is my favorite, but there is also www.boardsource.org. "

Again, thank you to everyone who came out.
