Sixteen scholarships are available for the Information Technology Rural Librarian Master&#039;s Scholarship Program in the School of Information Sciences at the University of Tennessee is <a href='http://www.sis.utk.edu/rural&#045;librarianship'>http://www.sis.utk.edu/rural&#045;librarianship</a>.<br /><br />PROGRAM GOAL: To recruit 16 individuals who are working in the Southern and Central Appalachian region’s rural libraries to complete their master’s degree with a focus on information technology and rural librarianship in the University of Tennessee’s School of Information Sciences program via distance education<br /><br />DEADLINES: Applications will be reviewed in January 2010. Students will be admitted into the ITRL program by May 2010. Students will enroll in two courses per semester including summer. The ITRL Program duration is June 2010 &#045; August 2012.
