Hopefully there will be some resources shared so that those not local can benefit too!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Join us for the 2009 Washington State Immigrant and Refugee Conference!&lt;br /&gt;March 13&amp;#045;14&lt;br /&gt;Husky Union Building &amp;#040; HUB &amp;#041;, University of Washington, Seattle, WA&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;The Washington Refugee and Immigrant Conference is a community&amp;#045;organized gathering of refugees and immigrants, service providers, policy makers, advocates, academics, and interested community members. In keeping with the theme, &amp;#034;Changing Times, Changing Strategies,&amp;#034;  workshops, panels, and speakers will consider challenges and opportunities facing refugees and immigrants, and innovative programs and methods that address them.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;See below for a sampling of workshop topics in the areas of Heath, Youth &amp;amp; Education, Adult ESL and Employment, Cultural Preservation, Immigration, and more.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;· To learn more about the conference activities, presenters, organizers or sponsors: &lt;a href='http://sites.google.com/site/refugeeimmigrantconference/Home'&gt;http://sites.google.com/site/refugeeimmigrantconference/Home&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;· Early bird registration is 55$/person &amp;#040;including two days of workshops, entertainment, and meals&amp;#041;. During that time you will set up a table or poster using display materials such as pictures, graphs, and narrative text on tables and/or poster boards.  Participants will stand with their displays to answer questions and informally “present” their project on a one&amp;#045;to&amp;#045;one basis.  This is an excellent marketing, information sharing, and networking opportunity.  Free with registration.
