Thanks everyone for sharing your ideas and experiences about providing laptops for checkout at your library. Just before the webinar ended, a couple people spoke about how laptops were of particular benefit to certain groups. One library offered laptops to young adults only, and another offered them to parents with young children, so that the adult can have a computer in the children's area.

If you have, or are planning a laptop checkout program, do you have specific uses in mind, or specific patron groups who will use the laptops? Please share!
