Thats interesting. Obama hopefully, should have some sort of insight on how we are feeling in these tough times as librarians as we struggle trying to keep up with budget cuts. I think that this is a great way to keep up with the news at the local, and national level.

I think the <a href='http://www.wo.ala.org/districtdispatch/'>District Dispatch</a> blog with news from ALA&#039;s Washington Office is a great way to stay on top of these issues at the national level. I attended their <a href='http://www.wo.ala.org/districtdispatch/?p=1093'>Post Election Wrap&#045;up Webcast</a> a few weeks ago and learned a lot. The best news was that Obama keeps a library card in his wallet, and found his first job via library job service.<br /><br />Please use this thread to discuss the news you&#039;re hearing from D.C.
