Obama hopefully, should have some sort of insight on how we are feeling in these tough times as librarians as we struggle trying to keep up with budget cuts. I think that this is a great way to keep up with the news at the local, and national level.</summary>

    <summary type="html">I think the &lt;a href='http://www.wo.ala.org/districtdispatch/'&gt;District Dispatch&lt;/a&gt; blog with news from ALA&amp;#039;s Washington Office is a great way to stay on top of these issues at the national level. I attended their &lt;a href='http://www.wo.ala.org/districtdispatch/?p=1093'&gt;Post Election Wrap&amp;#045;up Webcast&lt;/a&gt; a few weeks ago and learned a lot. The best news was that Obama keeps a library card in his wallet, and found his first job via library job service.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Please use this thread to discuss the news you&amp;#039;re hearing from D.C.</summary>
