Thanks Sheila,
This is great feedback. We do know of a couple other instances where links don't take you where you'd expect them to go and what your seeing here with the discussion links on My WebJunction isn't unique to you.

The good news is that the links to specific discussion threads work if accessed from anyone's Public Profile page.

Thanks again,
JP

It seems that very often when I try to follow links that appear on My Webjunction page, I often get sent to what appears to me to be an incorrect page. This issue is especially evident in links that appear in my "Updates" list.

Today's experience is that links that seem as though they should take me to a specific discussion where a friend has made a new post, actually only point to the friends community homepage, not directly to the discussion. I think that the problem is specific to links to discussions, but I am not sure.

If this phenomenon is not familiar, please feel free to "impersonate" me and check it out.
Specific problems in updates for:
8/26/08
Laura Crossett replied to the discussion thread "RE: Welcome to wp4lib!".
Laura Crossett replied to the discussion thread "RE: Welcome to wp4lib!".
Michele Leininger replied to the discussion thread "RE: Fall 2008 PLM 1 students, please see this thread!".
You created the discussion thread "Content for one-page flyers".

all the best,
Sheila Kearns
