Library 2.0: A New Version for the Future

Hello All!

Thanks to everyone who expressed an interest in this workshop. I'm glad so many of you were able to attend despite the miserable weather. Here are Amy and Rob's presentations. I hope those of you who were unable to join us can benefit from them as well.

Please use this forum for discussing the technologies and issues brought up in the workshop. Many of you mentioned ideas for including Web 2.0 technologies in your library projects. I invite you to share your experiences with us.

Hi Mara,
Is anyone else having trouble opening the pdf files from the Library 2.0 workshop? I can't seem to open them...Cheryl

I just tried and it and they opened ok for me. Can you open other PDF files?

The files are very large (3 MB and 4 Memoticon, so even if you are on a relatively high speed connection it can seem as though they are not opening unless you wait for some time.

I am going to see what I can do to make the files smaller. Also, if you have an older version of Acrobat Reader (5.0 or 4.0) that could also be the issue.

We will get this cleared up.
