I started this group because I was looking for information about using Flickr in my library and I didn't find a group on WebJunction.

Specifically I'm looking to start a project at my library where we allow/ask/encourage patrons to bring in old photos of the city/county and scan them and add them to our Flickr photostream. I'm looking for any examples of libraries doing this. I've pitched this idea, but right now it seems that we (the library) is getting in its own way with the need to have everything linked to the catalog, properly catalog ect.
