Integrating Immigrant Families in Emergency Response, Relief and Rebuilding Efforts is a new publication by Annie E. Casey Foundation that helps service providers incorporate new refugee and immigrant populations into local emergency response efforts. The report mainly focuses on how to address language barriers in emergency preparedness for Limited English Proficient (LEP) communities. ORR is looking for national, regional or local programs that help in community building, cultural adjustment and integration of refugees into their new lives in the United States. The deadline is February 24, 2009.
