We allow 10 DVD&amp;#039;s to go out at a time for 7 days. We do not allow renewals for the first 6 months on new materials and only one renew on all others. We allow holds but only 20 per card. We have a .25/day late fee for all materials in the building. We do not charge a fee for patrons to borrow DVDs nor for any of our materials.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Overdue fines are charged on most materials and are assessed on a per item/per day basis. Fines are charged at twentyfive &amp;#040;25&amp;#041; cents per day, per item. The maximum overdue fine is $10.00 per item.   Fines are not charged for children&amp;#039;s materials housed in juvenile shelving areas.  Patrons are charged for replacement of an item if it is unreturned or damaged.  In addition to the cost of the replacement item, patrons are charged an additional non&amp;#045;refundable processing fee of $10.   We have a Fine Option program which lets patrons who cannot pay the fines to work in liew of payment&amp;#059; a five dollar credit may be earned for each hour worked. Volunteer credit may only be applied against fines/fees and are not applicable against replacement costs.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;DVDs can be checked out for 7 days. The maximum number of DVDs a patron can have checked out at one time is 7. We don&amp;#039;t charge for DVD check&amp;#045;out &amp;#040;but we don&amp;#039;t charge for anything else either&amp;#041;. We do not have limits on how many DVDs a person may check out at a time. They circulate for one week with $1/day overdue fines. That&amp;#039;s considerably higher than our usual 10&amp;#045;cent/day overdue fines on other formats, but it helps ensure that the DVDs are returned promptly. Public libraries may borrow from our library&amp;#039;s extensive collection of large print titles to meet the needs of baby boomer who find it increasingly difficult to read standard print.  The Talking Book and Braille Library would encourage talking book patrons and their families to access the computers in their public libraries to download audiobooks that are not in our collections.
