Ruth Solie and I (both MN multitype directors) provide learning opportunities for members of the North Star Library Consortium (which uses Destiny software). Many of the events we offer are also available to others in the state and are often of keen interest to Destiny users. Please use this threaded discussion to share what you would like to learn. The date of our next event is January 26, 2009. We may have people bring laptops and actually do some hands-on, "under the hood" work, so that when they go back to work, they have already completed some cool things. More details will be shared very soon, but your input here is valuable, so let us know what you need. Here are a few ideas to get you started:

What "bells and whistles" within Library Manager would you like to learn? eg. how to jazz up your home page, create fabulous visual searches, create student reviews?

How about cataloging, any needs there?

Do you have any interest in gaming or new gadgets?

More generally, are there any "big picture" issues you feel hopelessly behind on?
