Several folks have asked me what the deadline for this is. Since there's no real rush, let's say it's December 31, 2008.

The Talmage Public Library uses the same policy on the Dell Laptop as our Gates computers. If know one is waiting to use a computer your time is unlimited. If someone needs to use a computer and all are in use, then the first person who signed in must give up the computer if there 30 minutes have expired. We have had know problems with this policy and it has made our patrons very well experienced in sharing the computers.Vicki Densberger Talmage Public Library

Vicki,
There are a few new items that you need to add to your policy to cover the issues raised by offering public WiFi access. While your existing policy is good an applicable, there needs to be some more. Take another look at the policy section of the setup document and the others that have been submitted for examples.
