Wii Game Suggestions for Multi-Generational Gaming
4:12 PM EST 12/20/08
Hi,

Our library is beginning a multi-generational gaming series using the Nintendo Wii Consul and New/Classic Board Games. My question to all of you is, what games would you suggest to bring in a multi-generational audience? So far we have the Wii Sports Game (and we are considering a bowling league, tennis/golf tournaments, etc...) and the Wii Play Game (has billiards, laser hockey, ping-pong, etc...).

Does anyone have suggestions about more cerebral games, I have seen Brain Age on Amazon.com, but I don't know how great that would work for a gaming event. Others that looked interesting included: I Spy, Puzzler Collection, Margot's Word Brain. If anyone has had experience with these games, or others that would be great, please pass them along.

As I was demoing the Wii today, a patron said that she was interested in Ballroom Dancing. I happened to see the Dancing with the Stars game that is offered for Nintendo Wii & Playstation II. We already have PS2 with DDR, and I believe that the dance pads are compatible, does anyone have experience using Dancing with the Stars?

I'll let you know how our first gaming event goes in late January, hopefully it is a success.
