Hello-

The Association for Library Service to Children (ALSC) recently published a list of
recommended fantasy books for children. So if your Harry Potter readers
are looking for something else to read you might want to check this list out for
suggestions.

A list of "Harry-a-like Books" --what a great resource. You could post this same message in the [url http://webjunction.org/forums/forum.jspa?forumID=146 ]Youth Services[/url] area, which could use a bit of activity. This is a subject that public libraries of all sizes are steeped in.
