Hi, all,
We were looking into establishing a Facebook presence for the library, and the Board is the part of the organization with the most experience with it and is probably going to be the group that maintains it. If your library has a Facebook, MySpace, or other social networking presence, what role does your Board play in the process?
We also have to thoughts on how to create the account
- have a traditional organizational account in which the library has fans
- create an individual account with a mascot, which we don't currently have, or the person the library is named on taking on the role of making announcements and presenting information
Does anyone have any thoughts about either option?
