Post-Tracks is an online, peer-reviewed student publication hosted by WebJunction. This quarterly publication in the field
of library and information science (LIS) provides an opportunity for LIS students to publish their work or review the work
of other students.
Original manuscripts of 1,500-3,000 words on all topics in the field of library and information science will be considered
for publication. Every paper submitted will be subject to blind review by LIS student reviewers.
Manuscripts should be sent as an email attachment in plain text or Microsoft Word format to the editor at junction@ischool.utexas.edu. The cover page of the manuscript should include: References should follow APA (American Psychological Association) style (5th edition). The author is responsible for providing
complete, accurate citations. A brief abstract of 120 words or less should also be included with the manuscript.
WebJunction uses the Creative Commons system of rights management for contributed content. Once a paper is accepted, authors
will be asked to select a Creative Commons license for their paper. For more information, please visit www.creativecommons.org.
The editor will acknowledge receipt of all manuscripts. Each manuscript is sent to two student referees for review. The peer
reviewers’ anonymous comments will be sent to the author along with the editor’s decision regarding the manuscript’s acceptance
for publication. In some cases, manuscripts may be returned to authors for revision based on the peer reviewers’ recommendations.
