To facilitate use of the modules from now till the future continuation of the program, new documents can be posted from each module and sub-module main pages and the community discussions are open. Weather and Climate are affected by the natural surroundings and in turn affect the natural surroundings. The science of weather and climate investigates the processes (both internal to the Earth, external such as sunlight, and human activities) that affect weather and climate change. A variety of U.S. federal government agencies support research and provide scientific and technical information related to weather and climate.

National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) - The National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) "is the world's largest active archive of weather data. NCDC produces numerous climate publications and responds to data requests from all over the world. Online access is free to all .gov, .edu, .mil, k12 and other selected domains while many of the publications from the NCDC site are free for all users. NSCEP/NEPIS - EPA's Gateway to Free Digital and Paper Publications - Environmental Protection Agency's (EPA) database providing access to tangible and electronic EPA reports from the 1970s. There are over 25,000 full text electronic reports and this collection continues to grow. The National Environmental Publications Internet Site (NEPIS) was incorporated into NSCEP in January 2007.
